Concept
It is the desire of all Nepalis and our national aim to make Nepal a peaceful, prosperous and an ideal nation in the world. For the building of any nation, it is necessary for the important bodies of the country's education, health, administration, judiciary, security, politics, communication etc. to operate in an orderly manner and for that, the human resources working in all fields should have the thinking, honesty and determination to act with dignity and put the national interest first, should be kept. In other words, the basis of any nation building is the citizens of that country who have good character and patriotism. Pragyan Vidyarthi Parishad, Nepal was established in the year 2052 and duly registered in 2054 keeping the same thinking as the center point and has been conducting its creative activities in the education and social fields of the country by uniting the teachers, students and academicians in one formula with the goal of national reconstruction. Considering the nationalism of Nepal and the original Sanatan philosophy rooted in Nepali soil as its ideological foundation, the Parishad is continuously moving forward with the determination to fulfill its responsibility in the important and main role of nation reconstruction through the creation of good, characterful, ethical, disciplined and honest people.
Vision
The task of rebuilding the nation is basically a creative task. To initiate change from oneself, to develop the thinking that I will change, society and the nation will change, to develop positive and emotional nationalism, to create and develop a person with qualities such as positive thinking, honesty, hard work, social sensitivity, sacrifice etc. In addition to organizing creative programs, the main vision of the Parishad is to make student power useful for the benefit of society and the nation. Embracing the idea that cultured and nationally oriented youth are the backbone of the nation, Parishad is constantly active in ideological work. Parishad has established itself as an independent ideal social student organization by carrying out social activities to eliminate social evils such as casteism, colorism, untouchability, discrimination, etc., with the ideals of knowledge, morality and unity as the cornerstone of national reconstruction.
Speciality
The idea of building a peaceful and prosperous nation cannot be fulfilled only through the change of political power. We can build a peaceful and prosperous nation only if we can develop morals, character, discipline, honesty and national outlook in the youth and students along with the development of nationalism. Therefore, we are not part of any political party and are not controlled by any party. It is not our aim to act as an organization to gain political power. We define party politics and national politics separately. The important issues of national politics are education, development, national security, foreign policy, etc. We consider the Vidyarthi Parishad to play a vital role in all matters of national interest and also provide suggestions and moral pressure to political parties.
Education
We work with full faith in the thinking of the educational family by establishing a single organizational structure of teachers, students and academicians under the educational family. Through the collective vision of students, teachers and academicians, Vidyarthi Parishad has always been leading in the formation of skilled youth through restructuring of the education sector. Regarding the various challenges and problems within the education sector, Vidyarthi Parishad has raised a strong movement in the education sector. The teaching of moral education, the necessity of value-based practical education for employment, the end of party political interference and commercialization within the education sector, the examination system, curriculum revision, the country's geography, great men's history and culture-appropriate education, the anarchy of SWAVIYU election and its solution, evaluation of educational institutions and quality measurement, etc. Vidyarthi Parishad has raised a series of struggles on important issues. Through its central program, it is constantly trying to implement educational proposals along with passing them. Through the teaching of moral education, the teaching of life skill based education, the teaching of yoga education, the formation of QAAC by the Grants Commission, the age limit in the SWAVIYU elections and other important changes have succeeded in the education sector.
Pragyik Vidyarthi Parishad, Nepal being a student organization, along with the study of various activities in the field of education, organizes various educational debates, education workshops at the national and provincial levels, and engages students, teachers and academicians in those debates, identifying the problems and solving the solutions.
